Therefore, "محمد علي الصابوني" resolved to abridge it and purify it from impurities, responding to the urgent desire and at the assignment of "Dar al-Quran al-Karim" so that its benefit becomes widespread and achieves the intended result, knowing that his abridgement does not mean neglecting half of it or deleting much of it, rather what he did amounts only to deletion of what is unnecessary, such as repeated reports, lengthy chains of transmission, weak reports, and unnecessary rulings, while preserving the spirit of the interpretation as it is, in its pristine form, and its dazzling beauty, and its easy and accessible style, with complete coherence and harmony
He has followed the following method in the abridgement approach of this interpretation: First: Deletion of lengthy chains of transmission and limiting mention to the narrator of the hadith from the Companions, with reference in the page margin to those who narrated the hadith such as Al-Bukhari, Muslim and others
